Aqausource, the well known Water Supply Consultancy and Borehole Drilling Company based in Cornwall can now supply and fit Ground Source Heat Pumps through its new division, Groundsource South West.
We carry out all the below ground works required including boreholes to depths in excess of 70m, installing and grouting the vertical loops, trenching and pipe fitting and charging and commissioning of the ground loop.
Of course we can also install horizontal pipe work systems, slinkys, if enough space is available.
All the pipework is HDPE or MDPE pipe with a design life in excess of 50 years and is joined by electrofusion techniques.
During the pipework installation procedure the system is pressure tested to ensure its integrity.

Our commissioning teams can also supply and fit the heat pumps if required.
We have a close relationship with local Heat Pump suppliers and can liaise with the suppliers to ensure correct matching of the heat pump to the ground source system.
